Research show major health and environmental concerns with the use of artificial turf

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Attached is a letter Councilmember Mary M. Cheh (Ward 3-D) today, sent to DC Department of General Services Director, Brian Hanlon, requesting that the agency consider developing a more nuanced and health protective policy for the installation and replacement of artificial turf within the District.
