Ward 3 is composed of roughly 70,000 residents and sits in upper northwest Washington, DC. The Ward encompasses community- and family-oriented neighborhoods, including American University Park, Cathedral Park, Chevy Chase, Cleveland Park, Forest Hills, Foxhall, Friendship Heights, Glover Park, Massachusetts Heights, McLean Gardens, the Palisades, Tenleytown, Spring Valley, Woodland-Normanstone, and others. Our Ward is also home to many community and cultural anchors, including nine excellent public schools, nine recreation centers, and a brand new aquatic center.
